International Conference for Biological Physics 2026

I went to ICBP-2026 to make some connections, and I was also there looking for postdoc opportunities. I really liked the people — that was the best part. I presented a poster, and many people came by to talk about my work. I really enjoyed those discussions; there's something special about explaining your ideas to people who are genuinely curious and want to dig in. Along the way I met Paulo (whose work I really liked), Saurav, Rahul, Bhanupriya, Jabir and many others. The work I liked most was Macoto Kikuchi's. It was the simplest and most elegant thing I saw, living right on the edge of statistical mechanics and biology. He took a very simple biological question (Puzzle) and answered it very nicely using statistics. That's the kind of physics I want to do. More soon.
